I went out and used this on a cold night with boy scouts, and was satisfied. I could easily blow it up in < 5 minutes. It was comfortable to sleep on, did not lose air, and even though it was only rated to 35 degrees (it was colder than this during the night), it kept me warm enough. The material seems rugged enough, yet light. It does come with a convenient pack sack with a hidden interior pouch for the repair kit that comes with it. I was pleased with this, but it is also good to note that the manufacturer did not recommend storing it in this bag. They recommended that you leave it unfolded/unpacked, which bothered me. It is rather inconvenient to store something this size unfolded. Durability/longevity is important to me, and I cannot vouch for that, as I have only used it once, but I expect good things. Overall, a good value for the money compared to what else is out there.

I love this air mattress. It’s so much smaller than a rolled up foam mat or self inflating pad, and so much more comfortable. I didn’t have a problem with my sleeping bag sliding off it, but I could see how some sleeping bags might. It is a little colder than I thought it would be. I think the air inside the mattress moves and takes away some of the heat you might save with a regular pad, but probably a nice reflector blanket or something like that may make up for that. It’s probably very nice in the summer in that respect.

One nit picky detail; the valve is nice and quality, but I would like it if it opened farther. It takes longer than it should have to to get all the air out. It doesn’t take too long to blow up by mouth.

I have purchased two different Aerobeds and neither stood the test of time. I decided if my air mattresses were going to keep failing, I might as well buy a less expensive one. I bought one of these two years ago and it is a great buy. I have 2 boys (9 & 4) who love to have sleep overs on these beds watching movies in front of our projector on the weekends. When you lay out the two halves of this bed 3-4 kids can sleep on it in sleeping bags and everyone has room. It’s great for up to 2 overnight adult guests and folds up nicely for easy storage. The only reason I’m buying a second set is because my boys popped one of the mattresses doing the things that boys and stunt men like to do. The mattresses do seem to expand a bit after you fill them so I fill them up and then top them off with a bit more air a half hour later and they’re ready to go. I highly recommend this product, very versatile & cheap.

I bought one of these, and slept on it double tall. After about 15 uses one of them popped. I used the other one alone for another 10 or so uses until it popped. I bought another set of them, and just popped one of them after about 8 uses. I weigh around 250 pounds, but it’s supposed to handle up to 600 pounds. I’m not puncturing them, as they always get holes in the crease of one of the dimples (and always a dimple closest to the corner. The patch did not help at all, but the separated crease is a hard place for a patch to be effective. Anyway, larger and frequent users beware. I would pay top dollar for an air mattress that just did not pop, but who knows. This isn’t it. Hopefully the second half of my second pair lasts me until I find a new solution.
